Downtown Casa Sabina Skyview

Downtown Casa Sabina Skyview is in a quiet gated neighborhood, five blocks from the main pedestrian street of Alcalá. The house was fully remodeled in 2021. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and ceiling fans, and two full bathrooms. The view of the city and Soledad Church from the private rooftop terrace is breathtaking, and if you look in the right direction you can see Monte Albán. Our appreciation of Oaxaca shines through every mural and alebrije by local artists. See you soon!

We are part of a Zapotec town with nearby restaurants and easy transportation to Oaxaca city (25 minutes away). We offer tours to craft villages and archaeological sites. For the hiker, there are local mountain trails. And, the town of Tule is 2.5 miles away with its majestic 2,000 year-old cypress tree - a sight to see!

The idea behind the project of Casa VO consists of inverting the traditional model of a house with a garden and transform it into a garden with a house. Casa VO proposes to remove everything that is unnecessary (finishes, doors, windows) and keep only the essentials for this project (V-slab, adjoining walls, mezzanine, and front gate), allowing a larger and more generous space to achieve the main idea of the project: “Garden with a House”
