Go surfing, or take a stroll along Campbells bay on the golden sand. Close to Historical Oamaru with lovely cafes, restaurants and the Little Blue Penguins. Explore the lakes district, Moeraki or Dunedin .Riverstone Castle is also worth a visit. Could be a lovely relaxing stay after your alps to ocean cycle trip.

Enjoy stunning coastal views from every room at this cosy cottage located at Campbells Bay, Kakanui. Curl up by the fire in the cooler months and watch the weather roll in while listening to the sounds of the ocean, cook up a storm on the large wood-fired BBQ, and take in the stunning views at the 'Sunset Bar' on the adjoining deck. This seaside surfing and fishing spot has been a favourite in the family for generations, and now you can enjoy it too!

Small, quiet and private self contained one bedroom cottage with own entrance at the rear of our property in South Hill. Only 650 metres to the Victorian Precinct & the ocean side of the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail, walk to great eateries, art galleries, Steampunk and only 1.7km to the Blue Penguin Colony. The cottage has a fully functioning kitchen, Sky TV, wifi & heat pump to keep you cosy on colder days, with lashings of sunshine in the afternoons.

We offer this unique tiny home with fantastic Ocean views. You can wake to the sunrise and watch the sunset at night all from your bed. We offer continental breakfast. Which includes eggs if the hens are laying. Outdoor spa, Complementary snacks and beverages. You may also bring your dog. 5mins drive to the centre of town. But have restaurants and grocery shops near by. Off street parking also. Just on the town boundary with a rural feel.

The Kakanui shop and bottle shop is less than 2km away, with Coast cafe just a little further down the road. Bush walks and mountain biking tracks are located in Herbert Forest, 10 minutes drive away.

The Kakanui Cube

This fabulous little contemporary beach house is right across the road from the ocean. Stroll along the waterfront to Campbell's Bay surf break and the gorgeous sandy beach to All Day Bay. The Cube is the place to really relax and recharge enjoying the views and gorgeous sunrise and sunset. Chill out at home or get out for a surf or walk on the beach.

This is an East-facing Cabin with spectacular views. At the request of an extra guest, a stretcher bed can be made up. Note that the kitchen and bathroom are a short walk away. The bathroom and kitchen are located in the Common Room. This shared space is a separate building. Two cabins to choose from, listed separately.
