Our Cottage is a beautiful rustic cottage on the very popular Midlands Meander Route. It is on a farm with lots of lovely open spaces and beautiful surrounding views. The cottage has a lovely warm outside shower and also a panoramic view . It is very comfortable and perfect for children and also is pet friendly for those who don't like to leave there pets at home. Our Cottage has a 1 km dirt road off the main R103,at times it can be quiet tough with a small car. Please check if you are worried

Coldstream Cottage

Set on a 20hectare property on the banks of the Mooi River, Coldstream Cottage is the perfect place to unwind. Enjoy the beautiful views on the verandah, stroll down to the river or have an early morning run. The cottage is an architect designed, open plan, one bedroom unit with partly open plan bathroom. Morning sun pours through expansive glass panes, a free standing fireplace and solid wood floors help keep it warm in winter. A 20 minute drive gets you to Nottingham Road shops and restaurant

YELLOWWOODS FARM - The Sheep Shed (self catering)

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowwoods. The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, Boschhoek+Gowrie golf courses, Clifton Notties Prep school and Michaelhouse. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm, so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ and general day-to-day goings on! The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Pennygrove Cottage, 4 Sleeper Midlands getaway

Quaint 4 sleeper cottage with an exquisite dam view... the perfect place to unwind and relax. The smallest of three units on the property, it is perfect for couples, or a small family looking for a beautiful Midlands break away. Paddocks Cottage on Newstead Farm nestles in the rolling hills near Nottingham Road. Here you can find dams for boating and bass fishing, a tennis court and 25ha of indigenous forest! This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. A charming , spacious, house in the secure Gowrie Village in Nottingham Rd. Cosy in winter with a wood burner in the lounge and another in the kitchen. It overlooks a field, is peaceful and quiet and yet close to the coffee shops and eating places. A home away from home we offer comfort. (It is not a modern build, as it is one of the first houses built in Gowrie Village) Kindly note, there are 2 outdoor cats on the property that are only around for food. They won't bother guests Enjoy!

Vista Road Farm Cottage

Relax with the whole family on this working farm nestled in the bends of the Mooi River. Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and overlook the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Unfortunately due to ongoing biosecurity measures access to the dairy and cattle areas will not be allowed. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming.
