The interior design and furnishing is modern, but accent walls and other features are constructed of original materials. The guest house has a full kitchen and includes a Keurig coffee maker with pods. The living room has a 55 inch TV and the bedroom has a 32 inch TV. The queen sized bed is a 12 inch memory foam mattress - very comfortable. The Guest House has central air and heat. The bathroom has a lovely glass tile shower. Ceiling height peaks at 13 feet. The Guest House is located in rear of the property. The neighborhood is very safe and the Guest House is particularly safe and secure. I live in the main house and will be available to assist with guest needs. The guesthouse is tucked away behind a gorgeous "shotgun" house and is located in one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods. An urban walker's paradise, it's steps from Magazine Street with its great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The Magazine Street bus is accessible steps from the Guest House. The St. Charles Street car line is a 10 minute walk down State Street. The neighborhood is quite walkable and bike friendly. Please take a look at my house manual. It has many tips for navigating the house and the neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking on the street but no off-street parking.

Monday-Friday 8-5 we're not a quiet corner but on any night it’s relaxing, providing a restful night. Our neighbor, Race & Religious, hosts weddings with live music but never past 11PM. Our guest suite overlooks a beautiful pool and peaceful gardens in uptown New Orleans. It is 5 blocks to the St Charles streetcar and walking distance to restaurants, music clubs and streetcars. It has a luxuriously comfortable bed, high ceilings and large windows with garden views. Due to COVID-19, we re-emphasize our policy that the pool is only available for use by our guests. This studio accommodates up to 2 people and we cannot allow parties.

There's a "Toast" restaurant just 2 blocks away (excellent breakfast) and 2 coffee shops. High speed internet is now available.
