This recently remodeled cabin has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, a queen bed on the main level, and 4 single beds in the loft along with a front porch to relax on and watch the wildlife. There is also a laundry available in the Wash House. Located in the heart of moose country, you'll have plenty of opportunity to see the moose, wild turkeys, sandhill cranes and other wildlife. It's only a short and beautiful 1.7 mile walk to the Kenai Peninsula Fair Grounds.

Kasilof River is 24 miles, Ninilchik River is 1 mile, Deep Creek Recreational and tractor boat launch 4 miles and Ninilchick is 1 mile. Multiple local fishing charters for halibut and salmon. The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.
