The Old School House is a listed building that’s brimming with history. This spacious, four-bedroom holiday home now features sumptuous furnishings and an 8-person hot tub overlooking the gardens. The house can accommodate up to eight adults comfortably, and is a firm favourite with hill walkers and mountain bikers because of its proximity to Galloway Forest Park

Nook ( Carsluith holiday lodges) is a beautiful off- grid spacious lodge with a wood fired hot tub and stunning views across the Cree estuary. It is completely off grid so no tv or sockets only usb charging points in the bedroom. The lodge is pet friendly (max 2 medium dogs) for free sits in its own grassed fenced area on our 12 acre smallholding . We are situated close to the Galloway forest which is the famous for its starry dark skies and also has great mountain biking and walking close by.

We have so many attractions on our doorstep, like Culzean Castle, Heads of Ayr Farm Park, Trump Turnberry resort, Burns country, some of the best golf courses in Scotland and many excellent restaurants. The other pods on site are the Border & the Beltex. Ideal pods for 2 adults and up to 2 children or 3 adults maximum.

Netherthird is a stunning detached farmhouse set in a wonderfully elevated position, with the most glorious views of the surrounding Galloway Hills. Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Dumfries and Galloway dark skies park is a stunning location to get away from it all on our eco friendly off grid small holding. The yurt is solar powered with 12vt lights and has a wood burning stove, shower room and composting toilet. The yurt has a double bed and three singles (all with down duvets) so sleeps 4 x1 or 1x2 and 3x1 . The chemical free, DIY hottub is very private and for the exclusive use of our guests, only available for bookings of 3 nights or longer

Brigston Cottage is one of the oldest in the hamlet. It is centrally located in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway Ideal for exploring the whole area.This is a non pet property.
