Approx 10-15 mins drive from Dunedin city centre and 3 mins to historic Port Chalmers and some of the best beaches and coastal scenery Otago has to offer all nearby.

Equestrians, you can arrange to bring your horse, ride in our arena or on nearby stunning Uretiti beach. If you'd like to bring your friendly dog, we can accommodate your furry friends. You are welcome to walk around the property which include gardens, ponds and wetlands. Find a shady spot for a picnic by the stream.

Southwind Barn is situated on our 14 acre lifestyle farm. The barn has recently been decorated with a rustic western cowboy style. This unique accommodation is only 5 minutes drive (5km) from Wanaka township, and is the perfect place to relax, or use as a base for some Wanaka “adventures”. All rooms look out onto a private garden area with views of the mountains. The barn is situated close to the paddocks so you will enjoy seeing the sheep, lambs, and calf wandering by.
