Soak up the local culture from this quintessential cottage retreat. The revamped home features a gated private entry walkway, garden, a blend of contemporary and antique furnishings, and a bright open-plan lounge space. The cottage was once the horse stables and care-takers cottage for a nearby plantation. We lovingly renovated it into a two bedroom guesthouse in 2017. It's accessed through a private gated entrance and an 80 foot long landscaped pathway to the front door. With a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and private entrance, its perfect for long term guests and is kid friendly. The guest house is equipped with high speed WI-FI internet, washer & dryer, and a well supplied kitchen. Please let us know how we can make your stay more comfortable. The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of restaurants, shops, banks, a small grocery store, movie theater, and the streetcar. Convenient access to all parts of the city with its iconic sights and sounds. Located one mile from Tulane and Loyola. The St. Charles Avenue streetcar line is three blocks away which gives you direct access to all of uptown and downtown via a 13.2 mile stretch of streetcar tracks. Please no pets, smoking or loud music. We have children who you may hear playing in the yard.

Stylish Guesthouse in Historic Building near Audubon Park

The interior design and furnishing is modern, but accent walls and other features are constructed of original materials. The guest house has a full kitchen and includes a Keurig coffee maker with pods. The living room has a 55 inch TV and the bedroom has a 32 inch TV. The queen sized bed is a 12 inch memory foam mattress - very comfortable. The Guest House has central air and heat. The bathroom has a lovely glass tile shower. Ceiling height peaks at 13 feet. The Guest House is located in rear of the property. The neighborhood is very safe and the Guest House is particularly safe and secure. I live in the main house and will be available to assist with guest needs. The guesthouse is tucked away behind a gorgeous "shotgun" house and is located in one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods. An urban walker's paradise, it's steps from Magazine Street with its great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The Magazine Street bus is accessible steps from the Guest House. The St. Charles Street car line is a 10 minute walk down State Street. The neighborhood is quite walkable and bike friendly. Please take a look at my house manual. It has many tips for navigating the house and the neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking on the street but no off-street parking.

Private, quiet & separated by fence from the main house, this Creole cottage was built in 1860, is comfortable & cozy, with hardwood floors, central AC/heat. 5 Beds! Cool off with a daiquiri while floating in the the cocktail pool, or relax each evening with a glass of wine on the deck while listening to the sounds of brass bands drifting over from Frenchman Street.

Circa 1840 brick building, The Balcony Suite with private bathroom was recently Restored/Renovated with new furnishings and fixtures.. Monday-Friday 8-5 we're not a quiet corner but on any night it’s relaxing, providing a restful night. Our neighbor, Race & Religious, hosts weddings with live music but never past 11PM. If you need to go to bed early, we might not be a good fit. Uniquely located, close to the Garden District, Arts/Museum District, French 1/4 and the Conventional Center

We are centrally located just around the corner from St. Charles Avenue and four blocks to hip and happening Magazine St, featuring many fine restaurants and miles of shops! The historic St Charles Streetcar is 1/2 block away and will transport you downtown, the Garden District, the French Quarter or further uptown to the Riverbend area, Tulane and Loyola Universities, Audubon Park and the Audubon Zoo.

Only registered guests allowed access to property, including pool, at all times. Free Tesla charging. If you wish us to heat the pool, there is a $50/day charge and we need a days notice.

One Bedroom Garden Apartment

Garden apartment in historic property with large yard and pool. Two blocks to Canal street car servicing French Quarter. Close proximity to beautiful City Park. Blocks away from local restaurants. A short distance to Jazz Fest and Voo-Doo Festival grounds. Unit has a bedroom, bathroom, and a sitting room. Pool and yard area is common space. Only registered guests allowed access to property, including pool. NO PETS allowed as there is already a very friendly dog on site.

The Lair in Tulane Uptown Hip Freret Area

One Queen bed in the bedroom and two twin size mattress beds in the common area. Two blocks to Starbucks on bustling and hip Freret Street corridor Uptown and less than a mile to Tulane University. Or, walk a half mile to St. Charles Streetcar to ride to French Quarter. Immediate neighborhood is very safe with friendly neighbors. Small parking space available off street right in front of garage door. This is a garage apartment, but the garage is used for storage only.

Our guest suite overlooks a beautiful pool and peaceful gardens in uptown New Orleans. It is 5 blocks to the St Charles streetcar and walking distance to restaurants, music clubs and streetcars. It has a luxuriously comfortable bed, high ceilings and large windows with garden views. Due to COVID-19, we re-emphasize our policy that the pool is only available for use by our guests. This studio accommodates up to 2 people and we cannot allow parties.
