Uncover an oasis of calm and comfort in the middle of the old city. Escape to a bright space that combines contemporary and traditional design, featuring natural wood flooring, exposed beams, and an open-plan living area. We fell in love with Alfama and want you to experience it - that's why we want to share our house with you, that's why we will give you all the nice tips - be careful, you may fall in love with it too! About the house: it's a brand new apartment in total renovate building (re build in April 2016) with lift, in the 2nd floor of a 4 floor building. The apartment was fully renovated in April 2016. It's modern, comfortable and cosy, and will allow you to enjoy Lisbon's mythic light! It's ideal for a couple. We will provide you linen and towels; the kitchen is equipped with all cutlery, espresso machine, microwave and washing machine. In the toilette you have a hair dryer, shower gel and toilet paper. There's an iron in the apartment, etc… you don't have to bring any of those things. Air conditioned are available for hotter days. You'll have wireless Internet, so if you'll need to connect, bring your devices ☺ You can find also tourist information in the apartment…but we will share some already with you. Enjoy it! You will be in Alfama! Price for 2 people using all the house; you can use the entire home services: Kitchen, Living Room etc. You will get the keys from us personaly, and we will provide you extra information about Lisbon and Alfama neighborhood. We will also be on hand during your stay - you can contact us by phone, SMS, mail or Whatsapp Messenger. The area is full of history and truly represents the heart of Lisbon. Stroll around its narrow streets, discover the little typical cafes, restaurants, Fado houses, and new places emerging throughout the neighborhood. Yes there plenty of public transportation: Metro Sation Santa Apolonia Station (2 min walking), Taxi and the 28 Tram 5min walking from the house. Transfers between the airport and the apartment it’s an extra service - please let us know if are interested.

This modern 900 square feet apartment is located at the entrance of the Alfama and its most famous Fado music restaurants. The bedroom overlooks the National Pantheon, a Baroque style monument with a 360º terrace view over the city. On Tuesdays and Saturdays there’s a street flea market just behind the Pantheon, the "Feira da Ladra". Also close by is the best terrace/cafe, "Clara Clara", with a breathtaking view over the Tagus river. This is a prime location to feel and enjoy Lisbon as a local!

Resulting from the rehabilitation of a small medieval building in Alfama, the Casa da Amendoeira is structured around a series of courtyards and sunny balconies, interspersed with cozy interior spaces. The sound of running water from a fountain and a hammock are enticing prospects on warm summer nights in Lisbon. One of the courtyards is flooded with water, forming a pool. On the last floor, a balcony overlooking the river and the rooftops of the city is the ideal spot for a glass.
