We offer a 1st floor guest room & private bath inside our home near the Salisbury Cove area of Bar Harbor within walking distance from Bar Harbor Lobster Pound, Mainely Meat BBQ, Bear Creek Tavern, Utter Heaven Ice Cream, & Mini Golf. The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd & our downtown village are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the village for more dining, shopping, and excursions. From late June to mid Oct, the free Island Explorer shuttle is an easy option.

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub, the Skylight room has a big skylight which overlooks our sunny yellow room with a queen bed. Enjoy those Bar Harbor starlit nights from this rooftop room. The North End of Our Restored Barn

Our beautifully restored 160 year-old barn is centrally located on Mt. Desert Island, approximately 15 minutes from the village of Bar Harbor and approximately 10 minutes from the entrance to Acadia National Park via an old farm road, aptly named 'The Crooked Road'.
