Restful and within an hour and a half of beautiful Mt Shasta, one hour from McCloud river falls, one hour from Burney Falls, one hour 15 minutes from Lava Beds, on the way to Reno from Oregon, a great place to stay if your visiting family in the area, coming to a wedding, reunion, need a couples get-a-way or mini vacation, duck-geese-deer-antelope hunting, fishing and great stargazing area, just a fun stop on your travels through!

Airstream at Bidwell Canyon Farm

"Angie" sits in a private setting at the highest point at Bidwell Canyon Farm. She has stunning views of the Warner Mountains, the dry lake beds of the Surprise Valley, and BCF's vibrant pastures and creek corridor below. Angie is equipped to sleep 3, with 2 organic cotton memory foam twin beds in the rear, and a not-so-comfortable fold-out couch in the front. The sounds of birdsong and running water fill the air during the day only to be replaced by frogs singing under a dark sky at night.

The Bank - Downtown Alturas Apt

The E. Lauer & Sons building, built in 1903 by Emmanuel Lauer, originally housed the area's 1st general merchandise store selling farm equipment & more. Lauer also operated the Bank of Modoc County in the back (where this apt is now) & later added a furniture department. This apartment, featuring "vintage charm," is centrally located in downtown Alturas, just steps from the historic Niles Hotel & other points of interest. Pardon mess as the rest of the building will be a future brewery.

The Annex

Right in the heart of peaceful little Eagleville, CA, sits this charming three-bedroom cottage, one bathroom home with three connecting decks and a doggy door off the living room to a fenced grassy yard for pets. If you want to experience ranch life, peace, quiet, & nature ,than come to our 80 acre horse ranch in alturas calif., where there are more cows in our county than people. We have horses, cows, chickens, and cow dogs. Stay in our remodeled bunkhouse, has room for 4. 1 queen bed, and a full size futon. Full kitchen, private bathroom, with outside bbq area.
