Spalding House #19 - Unique 1900s Hotel Room

Unique 1900s Hotel Rooms with a dorm room feel. Located just off Main Street across from the Main Street Mall Plaza and only blocks from the Mountain Bike trails. Serpent Lake and Crosby Memorial Park are a quick walk away. Rooms are located above the Spalding Bar, so there is noise... especially on weekends. I repeat, it can get loud! Please do not book this room and then give a bad review because it was loud! It can be loud! Ear plugs, a diffuser with sound and a fan are provided.

Jasmin’s Place Rm #8 w/ a Queen bed

This is a private room for up to two people, in a Lodging House. The room has a Queen bed. There may be a couple of other guests staying in the other 2 rooms on this floor so we ask everyone to use common courtesy as there are some shared spaces. This large old brick and mortar building used to be a first National Bank. Now it’s a quaintly decorated lodging establishment, great for a weekend away or traveling for work. I have been hosting on Airbnb for a few years and this is my fave.

The Retro Camper Van Room

The Retro Camper Van Room at the Hard Sell Hotel comes loaded with all the bells & whistles plus a side of nostalgia. This baby comes standard with a queen-size bed surrounded & covered with super soft shag. The hand painted retro stripes will take you back to the days when gas was $0.31/gallon. Front row bench seating, or couch, with plenty of leg room. Beaded curtains, bluetooth record player, smart TV & mini fridge are a perfect mix of that vintage feel and modern comfort.

The Atomic Family Room

The Atomic Family room at the Hard Sell Hotel captures design elements from the 1940's all the way to the future. A subtle balance between a bomb shelter and the Jetsons. This no window room is perfect for people who enjoy their privacy and hate the sun. Hand built furniture and fixtures, soft shag rug, adjustable overhead lighting, bluetooth record player, mini fridge & smart TV are a perfect mix of that vintage feel and modern comfort.

The Sazerac Room

The Sazerac Room at the Hard Sell Hotel is as loud & vibrant as the neighborhood itself! Named after a traditional New Orleans cocktail, this room follows a similar recipe: 2 parts Party, 1 part Sweet, a dash of bitter & a hallucinogenic rinse (Look it up). The bed is comfy, the record player works & the blackout curtains are top notch. Relax to the soundtrack of the Marigny or come on down & join the fun!

Studio 504

Dust off your platform shoes & come boogie down in the Studio 504 room at the Hard Sell Hotel. Funky fixtures, record player & lots of other far out amenities, ya dig? After dark, you can mellow the vibe with the slow rotating disco ball or just enjoy a hot tea in a cozy armchair. The Studio 504 room is the perfect place to get the party started, or crash afterward. Peace, love & granola!
