Fix meals in the fully stocked kitchen, or Blackstone Griddle, then relax on the front porch, or back patio by the fire pit, or just watch some TV. About 5 minutes away from Gilbert area, where trail heads start. Quiet area & cozy. With access to in ground pool. The pool is open from June 1st to September 1st. Only about 5 minutes from R D Bailey dam with picnic/play areas and visitor center with a nice view of the dam and lake. Great for boating and fishing. Close to trail 12, Mexican restaurant, grocery stores, Dollar stores, Giovanni’s, & more! Lots of hiking areas and other local parks and recreation areas.

Peggie’s Studio Retreat is nestled in a secluded hollow just minutes from the Bearwallow Trailhead of the Hatfields & McCoys’ Trail System. The space is a large art/photography studio that has been transformed into an inviting living space. You’ll love the peace and quiet after a day on the trails. Buy your official Hatfield - McCoyTrail Permits on site. (Let Peggie know you want to purchase Trail Passes when you book the studio. Two week notice required )

We are located 1/2 mile from Buffalo Mountain trailhead, which means no trailering necessary. Ample parking is provided.

Just a couple of miles from Chief Logan State Park .
