Our house is located in Milatos;a largely unspoilt, traditional village in Crete's Lasithi region and it’s divided into the inland and the beach. Milatos inland is a picturesque place surrounded by olive groves, where you can stroll through its narrow streets,spot traditional homes and visit the cave just outside the village. Milatos beach is a by-the-sea development where you can visit the fishing harbor and its sandy and calm beach, nearby taverns and several pebble beaches and secluded coves.

Elaiodentron eco House

(Eleó–then–dron) comes from the classical Greek word for the olive tree. A modern eco-friendly stone-built retreat, set in a private olive grove using regenerative farming, just 2 km from the sea, surrounded by olives, pines and cedars, with views of Ha Gorge. It is built on the exact same spot of an older lodging, a "magatze" as we call it here, that served our family during the olive's harvest. The name of the olive groves around the house is Sotirali and may be a corruption of the Turkish name "Sotir Αli".
