An entire terraced house in a quiet residential area yet only 1.6 kilometres (1 mile !) uphill (sometimes steep !!) from the city centre (and all its attractions !). The 207 and 208 buses run frequently to and from downtown to a bus stop near the house - a 3 minute walk away (160 metres). Taxis are €6 - €10. The main bedroom has a double (queen) bed. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Outside the traditional coach house doors is a stone paved terrace, garden furniture & steps down to a sunken garden

12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. Lighthouse keepers; Home of the year finalist

Welcome to the lighthouse keepers house! We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!
