Very good home feeling. 936 Sq feet of living space. Keypad for entry 24 hours. Full kitchen, laundry room, very quiet place. Everything you need. You don't have to pack anything iron provided, shampoo soap hair dryer etc. Security cameras on site. Near Merry Family Winery, Bob Evans Farm, Hardee's Love truck stop, Rio Grande college. Holzer Hospital. We have several other restaurants non chain, museums in our area. A list of things to do will be in the cottage or feel free to ask Tim or Bev.

The cabin offers a peaceful retreat where you can temporarily separate from technology and connect with one another and the surrounding nature. Inside you will find comfortable, spacious rooms for both small and large gatherings. Outside, relax on the wrap around deck, sit around the fire pit, or hike our trails throughout the 300 acre property. The Firefly Cabin is one of several accommodations at Carpenter Inn.

Ohio Riverfront cabin near Forked Run State Park

Enjoy the gorgeous view of the Ohio River and surrounding hills, from riverfront property. The 1 bedroom cabin sleeps four and is the perfect place to rejuvenate or be the base in between all the activities in the area. Forked Run State Park is across the road and the Ohio river access ramp is 1/4 mi away. The park offers a lake for kayaking, fishing, and a nice sandy beach for swimming. An 18 hole disc golf course is available, along with many hiking trails, and archery targets.

Located in a great central location just a short walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutiques, churches and more. (Suite 1 of 2 apartments located up a two-story walk up in historical building. Not handicap accessible.)
