You'll be a world away from it all, while still just 30 miles from the nearest town.

Nana's Cabin

Nana's Cabin is located on a private pond 4 miles from downtown. This charming log home was built by local builders for their mother. Guests can drive right to the front door. There is a full well equipped kitchen. Bathroom has tub w/shower, washer & dryer. One queen bed downstairs & a queen, a twin and 2 pull out beds upstairs. Note: The Denali National Park entrance is a 3 hour drive from Talkeetna! There is a 1/2 mile walking trail on the property and access to local bike and ski trails.

Glacier View Log Cabin

Relax and enjoy astounding glacier and mountain views from every window in Glacier View, Alaska. This is an authentic, spacious Alaskan log cabin built in 1973. The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. Prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or dine at our local lodge across the road. The Glacier View Log Cabin sleeps up to 6 and has TV, wifi, and woodstove heat. Simple Alaskan Beauty Cabin

A "Tiny Cabin", there is 1 full bed. No sleeper sofa. The kitchen counters are refurbished old barn doors, the long wall is pallet wood, the wood floors have been torched and sealed for a rustic look. The cabin is 12x20, perfect for two guests and a small child can sleep on the loveseat (not a pullout) There is one full bed in the cabin. It is a dry cabin, (no ability to shower) We do provide a counter top water system (5 gallon jugs) to freshen up and bottled water in the refrigerator.

Our spacious deck overlooks the lake with built-in seating. Kayak or paddleboard, chill around the propane fire pit or cuddle up inside with the woodstove (supplemental, cabin has a forced air furnace!) 2 bedrooms, small room has a King bed, larger room has 2 Queen beds. Get ready to RELAX, you're on lake time!

This is a private location away from the hustle of Talkeetna yet only 10 minutes away. It sits in the woods that makes one appreciate the wilds of Alaska. Perched on a hill, it offers the full view of Denali and the valley below. There is a full kitchen for those that want to be self contained and also a covered deck to enjoy the outside while enjoying the view. It has a roomy shower and a queen bed. The area has trails that can take you to the river or just explore the woods of Alaska.
