The Hermits’ Hideaway is a unique, rustic cabin hidden away in the hills just north of Levin. Self contained & off grid, this is the perfect place to get away from the hustle & bustle of daily life. There is nothing to do here but relax, kick back & de-stress. Enjoy waking up to the sound of the birds & the wind in the trees. Have a glass of wine on the deck while watching the sun set. There is also a small gallery on site, showcasing a range of quality hand crafted items available for purchase.

Escape to the heart of Rangitīkei at Flat Hills Tourist Park. Set on 17 acres of countryside, our cosy pods offer a rural retreat with comfortable beds, TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, plus access to shared amenities, kitchen, lounge, BBQ area and hot showers. Meet friendly farm animals, explore the maze, enjoy the playground and café, or simply relax and take in the views. Conveniently located on SH1 between Wellington and Taupō. Please note currently the cafe is closed on Tuesdays.

Private stand alone cabin with bathroom in garden setting. Newly built to highest standard, located in Hilltop area. 5 min walk to Lake Taupo beachfront. 20 min walk to CBD. Local restaurant/bar, dairy and takeaway (5min walk). We offer a safe quiet fully insulated cabin, that sleeps two people (not suitable for children under 8) . Central base to experience the wonderful great lake tourist/events area. Guests will be comfortable in top of the line beds and a continental breakfast is included.

It has double glazing, a mini fireplace, toilet with vanity in add-on bathroom off the deck, large porch area for dining and 2 outdoor baths for soaking in the views. A new 30 sq m cabin, views from every angle looking out at cows, sheep & valley below. Wake to birdsong. An old Totara forest behind the cabin to admire the views & watch the Kereru & other native birds. 15 mins to Feilding, Vinegar Hill, 20 mins to Kimbolton (Cross Hill Gardens) or 30 mins to Apiti. Continental breakfast supplied, along with tea, coffee, sugar etc. Large deck to sit and enjoy the views over the valley below. Plenty of parking for a trailer if required.
