Moel y Don is a beautiful waterfront cottage set right on the edge of the Menai Strait Wake up to the sound of the water, enjoy quiet evenings under big skies, and feel completely immersed in nature. Perfectly positioned just minutes from sandy beaches and on the coastal path. We’re only 5 minutes from the A55 making Moel y Don an ideal base for exploring the very best of Anglesey & Eryri. Murmur y Coed translates simply to the murmur of trees and sits in a tranquil spot at the end of a private driveway, the closest property to the forest and beach. Llanddwyn Island and beach are one of Wales’ most popular and enchanting spots to visit. It's a lovely walk through the woods to Llanddwyn Beach, you may even see some of the famous red squirrels of Newborough Forest. We are dog friendly and have plenty of outdoor space along with direct access to the Wales Coastal Path.

Dating back to 1850, this quaint white-washed Anglesey cottage is close to the beautiful coastline including magical Llanddwyn Island, an area of outstanding natural beauty and Newborough forest. A real hidden gem, Pen y Gamfa is tucked away down a pedestrian pathway. This charming cottage comprises a lounge and bedroom area. An Aga woodburner with Welsh slate surround provides ample heat supplemented by two electric radiators. An eco extension with living roof is a later addition.
