The Acorn is part of the 60 acre, 137 year old Oakland House property that has been operated as a summer vacation destination since it was opened to guests on July 4th, 1889. Once an ice house and even a casino, the Acorn is a quaintly rustic piece of history we hope you enjoy! Banditry of Chickadees is a private room with one queen and one twin bed and is tastefully decorated with antique furnishings. Room is accessed from an exterior staircase off the porch.
