Located on a quiet farmyard with a large garden, 3km from the Lee Valley. Host lives in another farmhouse next door. Great fishing nearby in the river Lee, national rowing center also located within 10 mins drive. 25 mins drive from Cork city, 15 mins to the Blarney stone. Easy access to West Cork and Kerry region, all reachable with day trips. Lots of great walks nearby. If you need “fast”WiFi, this is probably not the location for you. We are rural and not served by incredible internet speeds.

Glengarriff Lodge (formally Lord Bantry's Cottage)

Glengarriff Lodge, or what used to be Lord Bantry's Cottage, is a luxury self-catering space hidden away on a secluded, leafy island surrounded by 50-acres of ancient oak woodlands in Glengarriff, West Cork. Our cosy and spacious family house is situated in the town of Macroom within a five minute walk of the town centre. Free wifi, tv, patio area and garden, private parking. This home in a central location ( halfway between the famous town of Killarney and Cork City) is perfect for couples and families wishing to tour the area. Macroom Golf Course is just minutes away from our house and well worth a visit if you 're a golfer.
