The loft sleeps 4/5 persons (2 double bedrooms, single portable guest bed) and has a large living space, kitchen, & bathroom. There are 14 steps to the entrance, which is lighted externally. Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

It's located close to many beautiful beaches, in one of the most scenic spots along the Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara. The views from the cottage are simply breathtaking.

Tappy's Cottage

This quaint, quiet, 19th century cottage, rests in a timeless, peaceful setting, in the townland of Canrawer, a single kilometre from the town of Oughterard and 25 kilometers from Galway city centre. Oughterard is Galway's gateway to Connemara. Tappy's cottage is stop number 13 on the Oughterard Heritage Walk, a 2.8km walk which commences at the Owenriff Waterfall.
