Our guest suite is in a quiet residential area in Balerno; a village at the foot of the scenic Pentland Hills. A beautiful spot for walkers and nature lovers. To visit the city take a 25 minute car drive or the 44 Lothian bus at the end of the road for a 45 min bus ride to Edinburgh City Centre. Complimentary milk, coffee, tea and sugar plus cereal for your first breakfast. Shops, restaurants, bars, cafe & takeaways within a short walk. A parking spot on the drive is available on request.

Ten minutes east of Dunfermline , Ten minutes from Aberdour coastal path .Motorway route M90 and A92 close . St Andrews 45 minutes by car .Bus service is 10 minutes walk to crossgates . Park and ride at Halbeath provides excellent links throughout scotland , Edinburgh city centre and Edinburgh airport are roughly thirty minutes away by car x

It is also an ideal space for those planning on leisure time, or meeting friends/family, but who also need to spend some time working. The bright, airy and tranquil setting, with a table, comfortable sofa and ultrafast Wi-Fi will suit their needs perfectly.

Little Linton

****Edinburgh council have added a visitor tax as of July 2026 so I will need to increase my nightly fee to account for this! Situated in the peaceful and leafy Colinton Village, we have an annex attached to our house for your stay with your own entrance. We feel it offers country views out to the Pentland hills yet we are easily accessible to the airport and centre of town. We have a double bedroom and small sitting room and private bathroom for your stay. Tea, coffee and toaster provided.

It has WiFi & independently controlled heating. City centre 15 to 20 minutes on bus.

Lovely Guest Suite in Central Edinburgh

Beautifully furnished one-bedroom guest suite in a central, but quiet, location and within walking distance of most tourist attractions - also a good bus service is nearby. The guest suite is a real home from home - comfortable for up to three people. It is part of my home but is a private space. As I live in the same building, I am available if you need help or advice. PARKING: you MUST let me know if you plan to bring a car BEFORE booking. The available parking won't suit everyone.

The Dairy is the former farm Dairy which we converted to a completely self-contained apartment adjoining the main farmhouse where we live with our children. The living/kitchen area is heated by a log burner. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and private bathroom . Enjoy the charm of a rural location, with bike trails, fishing and walking on the doorstep. Relax in the garden and enjoy a nice walk down to the river Tweed . Please note there are some cold areas of the house in winter

Barleydean Suite is situated in a private annex in a country house. At the edge of the Pentland Hills, you can hike from your front door, wander to the local pub or take a bus to Edinburgh. The suite has private access for guests. It has 1 bedroom with a super king-size bed for 2 guests. Up to 2 foldaway single beds can be provided on request. Maximum occupancy is 4 people. There is a kitchenette suitable for light cooking, with hob, microwave, Nespresso, toaster, and washing machine.

Located in Forth between Lanark and Livingston, with double bedroom, living room with double sofa bed, kitchenette & exclusive use shower room providing a comfortable base with scenic views of the countryside. Centrally situated between Edinburgh and Glasgow and close to the Scottish Borders or you can enjoy shopping at Livingston’s famous designer outlet McArthur Glen.
