Being nestled right between Los Angeles and Disneyland makes it a vacationer's dream. A car is recommended, however there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Uber is also a good option if you plan to stay within Long Beach. Staying here will put you in the middle of everything! A high, vaulted ceiling provides a feeling of openness and large picture windows give you incredible views of the park, the Observatory, and the city. The overall effect is one of serenity, peace, and well-being. Your huge room has a private entrance from the street. You have access to all outdoor areas, including the peaceful koi pond with sitting area. Our guests love the Balinese outdoor shower, a perfect communion with nature. Aside from our personal living areas (which you are welcomed to find us any time), you are invited to share any area of the property, especially the outdoor areas. You will be welcomed into our home, and we will give you all the privacy you want. However, we are always available for you should you have questions, need some local recommendations, or need anything at all. We offer this area in our home to you so that you can share in the enjoyment we have had living here. Take note: We love to host, and we are here to make sure your visit to Hollywood is absolutely perfect, whatever that means to you. The first thing you'll notice are the winding streets and hills reminiscent of northern Italy. This historic neighborhood features the Hollywood Sign, views of the Griffith Park Observatory, local grocery stores and cafe, and a variety of top restaurants all mere minutes from your door. Nestled on the edge of Griffith Park, wildlife abounds. Hike the trails, the hidden stairs, and explore the neighborhood on foot. Still, you are minutes from all Hollywood has to offer. There is so much to enjoy! There is plenty of parking, weekend is permit only. We provide a free permit for you on weekends and holidays, and you don't need a permit on weekdays. Uber and Lyft both pick up within minutes, and this is the recommended method for getting around Los Angeles easily. Both are very reasonably priced in the LA area. If you bring bicycles, you can expect quite a workout in the hills! Also, there are many Dash bus stops in the neighborhood. Although you are sharing our home, we leave you alone to enjoy a very private room. You have plenty of access to a large deck and pool area, and are welcome to explore the other outdoor areas. The views are of particular note. In a word, they are EXPANSIVE. You are treated to incredible views of the Griffith Park Observatory, and well as downtown Los Angeles city views. Wildlife abounds; hawks, parrots, deer, coyotes, and much more. The pool is salt water chlorinated, so no worries about red eyes or dry skin. You have access to the pool and umbrellas, all on a spacious deck with plenty of seating and reclining. (Please note: Apologies, but the hot tub is not available for use) Enjoy peace and serenity in your private outdoor shower area, right next to your room. Relax in the pool, walk the beautiful streets, recline by the koi pond. Then hit Hollywood and enjoy all the attractions Los Angeles has to offer!
