Explore Harry Potter's London Tour
Join me as we venture into the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter in London! On this walking tour of London's streets we will watch clips from the movies while I regale you with behind-the-scenes stories of those locations and how they were used in the film series. Our first stop will be the entrance to Diagon Alley, before we pop down to see the Ministry of Magic, and find out which Leaky Cauldron has the best tacos, as well as others I don't want to spoil here. I will also share some of the strangest, funniest non-HP facts I've learned about London along the way. We will finish at Borough Market, London's top street food destination, with King's Cross just a separate Tube ride away. PLEASE be aware the tour is offered in English only, and it is largely story-based, so a better-than-basic conversational grasp of English is essential. While witches and wizards of all ages are welcome, due to the amount of walking and the content, I more recommend it for ages 11+. Strictly one person per slot. No exceptions. Step-free route for wheelchairs available This London street walking tour is not affiliated with the WB Studio Tour at Watford. Other things to note Every person (over 11yo) will need an Oyster card or contactless payment method with at least £2.40. The tour contains about 90 minutes of brisk walking so make sure little legs are up for that!
Hidden Pubs of London
Join us for a 3hr historical stumble down the "street of shame". Starting in the shadow of the iconic St.Paul's cathedral, we explore the tiny backstreets and rambling courtyards the ancient City of London is famous for. We follow in the drunken footsteps of literary greats including Dickens, Shakespeare, Pepys & Johnson whilst pausing for a drink in at least 4 of the most historic pubs dating as far back as the 1500's. From discovering art nouveau gems to glamorous Victorian gin palaces we enjoy a variety of pub styles and breweries along the way. It's not a prescriptive tour, so you choose & pay for your drinks along the way. We're here to offer recommendations, and you can often "sip before you sup" with a few tasters on request from the bars along the way. This allows you to indulge as much or as little as you desire! Non-drinkers can soak up the history, and wine & gin-lovers are also well catered for. We usually finish up on the edge of Covent Garden perfect for theatre-land, restaurants and of course more pubs including one that claims to be the most haunted in London! Other things to note Guests are recommended to be over 18 years of age to enjoy the walk at its best. Anyone lucky enough to look under 25 years of age should bring photo ID. N.B. We have a small number of hosts running these walks so you might be meeting up with Chris, Mark, Wil or Kevin
The art of Indian homecooking
Don’t let COVID-19 stop you from travelling to India. Find it right here in my little home in London. So far, I have hosted over 500 guests from all around the world (over 25 countries). I have celebrated birthdays with them, shared beautiful conversations and unforgettable moments with them. It will be a small group, so we will all do the cooking together, like a bunch of friends in an Indian kitchen! INTRODUCTION TO SPICES We will learn about ‘Garam Masala’. And no, it’s not just “curry powder”. It’s the basis of understanding individual spices. I will teach you how to blend them to *your* taste. We will create a blend together! INTRODUCTION TO CURRY A basic (yet full of flavour) curry lesson, and here I will teach you how this basic recipe can turn from a healthy weekday meal into a weekend feast. MAGIC OF THE INDIAN KITCHEN We will learn about making homemade things like yoghurt, or paneer, or ghee (it’s much better/cheaper than buying it off the shelf AND IT IS MAGIC). I will also show you a magic trick of how to make amazing rice. THE FEAST We will feast on what we cook! YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE A HANDOUT OF THE DAY’S LESSONS. No time for note-taking, as you’ll be busy cooking, tasting, eating and talking! Remember, this is all about learning that we Indians do eat Indian food regularly, so it’s obviously not as complicated as you think it is.

Discover London's Canals by Kayak
When you arrive at The Pirate Castle, you'll meet your instructor guide and be given a buoyancy aid to put on. We'll then give a short safety talk and show you the basics on how to use your paddle and control your kayak. You'll get into your boat (we'll help if you're wobbly!) and once everyone in the group's on the water we'll practise some basic paddle strokes before heading off on a gentle tour that weaves along the prettiest stretch of the Regent's Canal towards London Zoo, then back to Camden's famous lock and The Pirate Castle. This experience is 1.5 hours long (including kitting up/briefings). All tours depart from/return to The Pirate Castle. The pace and distance travelled will vary for each tour as your instructor guide needs to keep all members of the group together for safety. Novices and more experienced paddlers welcome! Our kayaks are suitable for weights up to 110Kg. Canoes are available for paddlers up to 300Kg or two people wishing to paddle together. Please wear something comfy for kayaking that you don't mind getting splashed. You must also need wear suitable footwear (old trainers or securely fitting sandals). NO SWIMWEAR, FLIP-FLOPS or CROCS! Kayaking is a watersport, so we'll go ahead even if it's raining. We only cancel tours in the event of thunder and lightning due to potential risks, in which case we'll discuss available options.
London Chicken Wing Tour - A Tour of the city's Top Wings
Love chicken wings? Then this is the tour for you! Sample wings from some of London's best wing joints on this fun and delicious walking tour. To my absolute delight, Soho is becoming Londons hottest new wing district with a plethora of incredible restaurants serving the best wings this side of the Atlantic. We'll take a short stroll to visit four restaurants, sitting down to eat in each. We'll try a variety of wings throughout the tour, including classic flavours such as buffalo and BBQ. As well as a number of other mouth watering flavours, such as a confit Laksa butter wing, taking your tastebuds on a wing themed journey from Buffalo, NY through to Seoul, South Korea. Hungry yet? Let me show you the best wings in town.
Make amazing chocolate in Notting Hill
Turning a cocoa bean into a beautiful chocolate bar is a wonderful, wonderful process. We will pair them with chocolate from different origins as we go through the chocolate history, so you see how the Aztecs created such beautiful cocoa. You will then create chocolate bars which you will be able to take home with Melt's beautiful packaging and a designer bag. An authentic experience from the Heart of Notting Hill. No prior knowledge is required - just a thirst for knowledge, curiosity and enthusiasm.
A spooky London bat walk after dark
Join me as we explore London's wild spaces after dark to discover the amazing world of bats. As dusk falls, mysterious creatures emerge from under bridges and out of old trees to hunt. Surrounded by myth and misconceptions, bats are a truly unique group of animals, and much misunderstood. The focus will be on learning all about bats and their unique biology, why they are so important as ecological 'keystone species', how they navigate in the dark and how each species is highly adapted to its way of life. We'll watch them hunting in various habitats, and excitingly we will use handheld electronic bat detectors to listen to their ultrasonic echolocation calls. You'll learn how to identify various species, from the tiny flitting Pipistrelles that can fit into a matchbox, to the incredible and comical looking Brown Long Eared bat. With luck, we may spot the Daubenton's or water bat skimming the water surface like a tiny hovercraft. Or our largest bat, the Noctule, almost bird-like flying in open skies with it's military 'chip-chop' call. We frequently encounter other nocturnal wildlife too, like owls, foxes, hedgehogs and badgers. Who knows what the evening will reveal! Other things to note Social distancing can be observed, bat detectors wiped down between uses. The walk is very safe as many joggers and walkers use the Heath to cut through, even in late evenings. We'll be sticking to wide open paths for the most part, but need to take care of trip hazards
