Nestled beneath the towering beauty of God's Window and surrounded by lush plantations, our cozy, rustic farm offers a farm experience. As a working farm, Terebinte - "the tree where friends and family gather" - welcomes you to enjoy the charm of country life. Please note, our property is located deep within the forest, requiring a 3km drive on a dirt road. While the road is generally well-maintained, heavy rain may occasionally make it a bit slippery or uneven. We navigate it in small cars too.

The Forest Cottage

A self contained cottage with two air conditioned rooms each 10m², situated within an indigenous patch of forest at the base and to the east of the highest peak in the Blyde River Canyon. From the cottage's verdant veranda stretching the entire length of the cottage, guests are afforded magnificent views over the South African Lowveld and in the distance, The Kruger National Park touching the horizon. It is situated at the very top of the village of Kampersrus within a safe and secure homestead.

The Watermill Cabin

Nestled among ancient pines, the 50-year-old cabin stands on the banks of the Broederstroom River, overlooking a magical waterfall. A 2km gravel road drive from Haenertsburg. ( Accessible to most cars, not sports cars) will bring you to the charming cabin. A double story with the bedroom on the first floor ( mind the steps) and the fully self-catering living space and bathroom, downstairs. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our two story home has a style all of it's own. A wonderful 2 bedroom property that exudes charm and character. Beautifully decorated with lots of outside entertaining space and a small welcoming splash pool. This property can be rented in conjunction with Palgolin's Rest which is right next door, giving 5 bedrooms in total for up to 10 guests. The property is located within the secure Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate where animals roam freely.

Covid 19 response, all our staff are vaccinated and the Tent is completely isolated. There is no contact with any other guests.

17 Zebula Golf Estate (12 beds MAX 8 adults)

Luxury in the bush. This house is located on the Zebula Golf Estate and Spa with 4 large and 2 small en-suite bedrooms (12 beds with maximum of 8 adults) The house has 2 open plan living room areas with TV, full DSTV channels and uncapped Wifi. Fully equipped kitchen. The upstairs entertainment area comes with a pool table and a deck with a view of the pool and boma. It includes a covered wooden deck area with pool which has a safety net. There is also a boma area with a firepit.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon. The cottage is available to rent for short term stays of 2-14 nights for up to 4 adults on an exclusive basis. If you are a larger family please contact me to see if arrangements can be made.
