This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Perched above Leynar, this 4 bedroom home offers beautiful views of the sea and surrounding landscape. Just an 8 minute walk from the beach, it’s an ideal base for both relaxing stays and exploring the area. The house is well suited for families or groups looking for a peaceful setting close to nature. Whether you're enjoying the view from the house or heading down to the shoreline, it’s a comfortable place to unwind and experience the Faroese coast.

Stykkjastova - view and positioning

Big and spacious house with a wonderful view. Very central in Stykkid, 20 minutes in car from Torshavn or the airport, 10 minutes from Vestmanna and 5 minutes walk to popular Leynasand beach. The house is in two sections with own kitchens, bathrooms, living areas etc. Playground in the garden for children with trampolin and swings, and the adults with hotpot, sauna and grillcabin. Space for 4 cars. Fast wifi. Access through stairs or ramp.

Tranquil Accommodation

A stone and wooden house with turfroof situated on a hillside. A very quiet place with only sheep, birds and green grass as far as the eye can see. Right infront of the house is the Northatlantic ocean. There are no neighbors. Ideal for someone looking for a quiet tranquil accommodation. The house was built in 2010 with an old traditional Faroese style. It has 1 bedrooms, a toilet, kitchen and a living room, all with a fantastic view.

Cosy cottage next to the ocean facing the fiord

The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.

Cabin with stunning view of the sea and island

The house is located, 20 min. drive from the capital Torshavn, in a quiet cottage area, set back from the public road. Perfect for relaxing and hiking in the mountains. Around the house there is a beautiful garden with shrubs and hedges. Sometimes you can be lucky and see whales from the house. There is no access by car directly to the house, but there is a path around 100m, which is good to walk on.

This is a unique igloo-inspired accommodation. The house is built to the highest environmental sustainability standards with ground-thermal heating, isolation, sustainable materials, and more. It is located in the charming village of Leynar, a central base to explore much of the Faroe Islands. The accommodation only 25 KM (16 Miles) from both the airport and the capital.

Experience a peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings where nature is all around you at The Farmer's House in Rituvík. The farmer's house is located right next to the family farm and it's 150 sheep. The house is newly renovated to ensure a pleasant stay.
