Sleep under the stars on a 111 acre farm. This rustic experience allows you to live off-grid and among nature. There are a number of trails and outdoor areas to explore as well as a number of close-by amenities within a 5 minute drive including 2 ski resorts. If you really want to indulge, we are also just a 20min drive to the Thermëa spa by Nordik. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to not require a long travel commitment, this place is a great way to relax and unwind.

The cabin is beside the Crystal Lake Marina & you can rent a boat slip & the beach is only a 4 min. drive away. You get the benefits of a lakeside rental for less than half the price. Our cabin is located in Trent Lakes ON, only 2 hours from Toronto. Local amenities within 20 km. Enjoy hiking, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, ATV’s & so much more.

Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

The COMPOSTING TOILET is a environmentally friendly unit. The loft accessed by a NARROW SPIRAL STAIRCASE w/ queen sized bed.
