The Retreat D can sleep up to 9 people. In the master bedroom, there is a king and queen bed as well as a full bath. The living room has a queen size pull out couch and the loft upstairs offers a queen and a twin bed with another full bathroom. With a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and all of the amenities of Canadian Lakes included in your stay - you don't need to look any further! Built in 2023. Our A-Frame style home is located on thirty acres of maple, oak, pine & sassafras rising out of a blanket of ferns set in the Manistee National Forest. Over a mile of well maintained hiking trail winds through the woods. This peaceful setting is only a 20-minute drive to downtown Ludington & Lake Michigan. Hosting adults only, no children or pets permitted inside the A, which is designed by a couple to create a perpetually quiet and relaxing place for other couples and ourselves.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

Lakefront Strawberry Haus has three bedrooms to sleep 10-12, including 2 on a futon and 2 on a sofa bed, providing the ultimate family getaway. The covered deck and hot tub provide direct, protected access to the lakeside dock, equipped with kayaks and a paddle boat. Indoors, the cottage features a fireplace, multiple tv's, movies, games, puzzles and books, and a fully equipped kitchen for your culinary needs as well as multiple grills. Enjoy relaxed days and peaceful nights at this unique and tranquil getaway. Experience nature right from the deck of this cozy log cabin constructed out of whole cedar logs. Listen to the flowing water of the Chippewa River only 100 feet from the deck and hear the bird songs of a variety of species while enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon beverages. If your lucky you may catch a glimpse of any number of different wildlife living along this stretch of river.

Green Acres: Your Home Among the Trees

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).
