Ghost town Ruin

It took my husband nine winters to rebuild the ruin from the miners back in the 40's. It has a 10" memory full size mattress, a light, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and an outdoor covered patio area with a refrigerator. It is rustic and special at the same time. It has an electric heater for cool nights and a small AC for warmer ones. We have WiFi on the compound, however, reception in the rock Ruin is iffy at best, reception is in the Patio area of the Ruin and common area,

Experience sunrises, sunsets and silence! No tv! An authentic, one room, earthen “cob house” on 300 private acres, totally off grid, solar powered, with rainwater catchment. Hot outdoor showers under the stars, rock patios, gas stove, mini fridge, king size bed, covered parking, WiFi, fire pit and Tootsie the turtle lives here too! Linens, kitchen utensils and towels provided. Only 30 minutes to Big Bend National Park and Terlingua Ghost town, 20 min to Terlingua Ranch Pool and Bad Rabbit Cafe.

Off Grid Earth Bag Home

Welcome to my earth bag home located 25 minutes outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house sits on 150 acres with 360 degree views of mountains, mesas, pinnacles, spires, and buttes. There are walking trails throughout the property. Good luck finding another home with as much love put into it! If the Earthbag home is booked I have a home called “Rammed Earth” over the hill that is a work of art. For some reason with online algorithms this home is not showing up as often.

Located at the western edge of Marfa, this cozy, unique adobe offers a true Marfa experience, and the best isolation and comfort for you. The house is air conditioned and heated, has wifi and a smart TV. There is one bedroom downstairs with a comfy queen sized bed and one loft bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and fun views. The Sandhill Crane Cottage is a perfect get away for birders, hikers, or just someone looking to get out of the city! It is approximately 2 miles away from Whitewater Draw which is host to thousands of Sandhill Cranes, multiple avian species, and a host of other wildlife.
