On clear days, you might just catch the magical sight of the first rays of sun hitting the far away snow clad peaks. You could spend time here admiring the beautiful colours of the butterflies, moths, other bugs and birds, taking walks along the numerous little forest trails, reading in our book lounge or simply doing nothing. 01 - Pithundi Jungle Lodge in Himalayan wilderness

Pithundi Jungle Lodge is accommodated in a restored and modified old building cluster with several rooms originally built for a mixed use of a residence, a shop and livestock shelter. The Lodge project is a small initiative at revival of the premises located in once a busy settlement with a few shops in a remote countryside of the 'Raath' region of Paudi Gadhwal. It now wears the look of a sleepy tiny hamlet with a few houses, some lying vacant because of emigration of the local folks.

Camp Hornbill was set up in 2010 by residents of the village Kyar, that lies within the Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve (PCR). The PCR is also part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve in Uttarakhand India.
