Mahoney Manor

My father executed his vision and built Mahoney Manor from the ground up. What started as a "camp" eventually became his full-time home before his untimely death in 2018. Nestled in the woods at the base of Ira Mountain just minutes from Sugarloaf and along the Carrabassett River, Emmett created a sanctuary. He spent the last years of his life "developing" two empty lots into a Zen-like nature trail system with hand made bridges and benches perfect for 4-season walking or snowshoeing.

On the River 2 is located in the heart of the historic downtown Kingfield on Main street with river views of the Carrabassett river. Miss Lucy Lu (Lucy) is the cat residents who lives in this special apartment. She is the host and will greet you. She loves people. She is an indoor kitty. There is a restaurant next door, the gallery is downstairs, swimming out the back of the building. Sugarloaf mountain close by. Mountains of possibilities to explore in the western area of Maine.

First Tracks at Sugarloaf

Welcome to First Tracks! Located right on mountain bike trails and less than a three minute walk to Sugarloaf Village. With epic hiking, waterfall swims, disc golf, zip lining and mountain biking right out the back door we've got your vacation covered. Plenty of room to spread out in the condo with a game room downstairs and a hot tub to soothe your tired muscles after a day of play. Sugarloaf in the summer is magical. The cabin is situated on 2+ acres with tall trees and plenty of wildlife. Come relax on the covered porch overlooking the pond or around the fire pit

Unique ski chalet five minutes from Sugarloaf access road, with snowshoe / XC ski trail from the property that connects to valley trail system. Cozy, all-wood interior with funky bunk bed tower, homey propane stove, and den with bar and large TV. Equally well-suited for families, friends, and responsible mountain enthusiasts! We love our shackteau and know you will, too! We received negative feedback on our last cleaner so we have a new AWESOME cleaner :)
