Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. The Yurt @ Ranish

The yurt is a tiny relaxing space . It is situated in Ranish , which is about 8 miles out of Stornoway and although it is at the back of a residential house you will feel like you are out on the crofts that surround it in this rural area of Lewis . The Croft fields around have a mixture of animals , including sheep , goats , geese , ducks & of course chickens , which can be a wee bit vocal at times . We have some very friendly chickens on the property as well .

Loft at 9 Keose

Private loft space in detached house. Host lives on ground floor, shared entrance. Situated in the small community of Keose in the North Lochs area of Lewis. Stornoway is a short 20 minute drive, and Harris about 30 minutes. Surrounded by nature with trees, chickens, dogs and horses, all close by. The island is served by two ferry routes. Booking ahead of time is essential, especially during peak season.
