Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. The property was built in 2010, with the layout designed to take full advantage of the spectacular sea views on the doorstep. The property is located in a central location on the Isle of Lewis. Stornoway is a 15 minute drive away. Local shop and petrol station a quick drive away. The Yurt @ Ranish

The yurt is a tiny relaxing space . It is situated in Ranish , which is about 8 miles out of Stornoway and although it is at the back of a residential house you will feel like you are out on the crofts that surround it in this rural area of Lewis . The Croft fields around have a mixture of animals , including sheep , goats , geese , ducks & of course chickens , which can be a wee bit vocal at times . We have some very friendly chickens on the property as well .

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

The House on the Hill 9a Keose

Taigh air a’ Chnoc (The House on the Hill) sits above the harbour in the small community of Keose, with open views over a working island harbour and to the sea and hills beyond. A peaceful well-placed base for exploring the Isle of Lewis, just 20 minutes from Stornoway and around 30 minutes from Harris. The island is served by two ferry routes - advanced booking is strongly recommended, especially in peak season.
