Aboyne Cottage—Peaceful Oasis in Quiet Cul-De-Sac

Pluck lemons from the tree and pick herbs from the planters for use in a tasty dish to enjoy in the cool and shaded courtyard. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

Uber is usually a couple of minutes away - very easy access to different parts around Cape Town we have a Nespresso Machine and Laundry service if needed

This sunny, private garden flat is separate to the house with it's own entrance and off-street parking. There is an enclosed paved garden with a Webber BBQ. We are close to major highways, a stone's throw away from the Kenilworth Race Course and 2kms away from a vibrant village with restaurants and pubs. You will find a convenience store, hair dresser and coffee shop 200 meters away. For load shedding backup, we have an UPS for the WIFI, a gas cooker and rechargeable light bulbs and light.

Kingsbury Hospital 2,6km and Kenilworth Race Course is a 5 min walk we are only a 12 minutes drive from the V&A Waterfront and CBD city bowl.

We have full solar installed so load shedding no problem. This is a spacious room with a Queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. French doors open to a private kitchenette and dining terrace. We will provide Filer coffee/tea/milk for you to enjoy at your leisure. A seperate garden entrance and secure off-street parking allows you to come and go as you please. Centrally located in the leafy suburbs of Claremont, we are 20 minutes from both the city center and some main tourist attractions.

The bedroom features a TV with access to Netflix, Disney+, Showmax, and DStv, a workstation equipped with a large desk and office chair, and a compact en-suite bathroom with a great shower. The kitchenette features a small fridge, microwave, egg boiler, toaster, coffee plunger, kitchen essentials, and some breakfast goodies. Our two dogs love guests!
