Beautiful Beachfront Lodging: Captain's Suite

Truly stay in the center of it all on the Homer Spit. Just out your door are the many shops, galleries and restaurants, yet on your beach side deck overlooking the beautiful vistas of Kachemak Bay, you’ll swear you are miles away. Conveniently located next door to Central Charters and Tours and Captain Pattie's Restaurant, across the street from the Homer harbor. We have 4 more units. 3 on the spit and 1 house in town. Sea Suite on the Homer Spit

Sea Suite has two bedrooms with a 180 degree view of Kachemak Bay on the Homer Spit. The suite is located on a boardwalk where the waves roll underneath you on the high tide. From the deck, you can watch seals & sea otters play and other critters swim by. The suite has a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, hotplate, coffee maker, and tea kettle. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. The Homer Shores Boardwalk is home to a candy shop, ice cream shop, restaurants, gift shops and more.

Trailer Glamping with Sweeping Volcano Views!

Our trailer (named Wilma) is the perfect place for those seeking a comfortable nature get-away in Homer. Situated on the ridgeline, the trailer is privy to sweeping views of Cook Inlet & the Alaska Range. Magnificent sunsets can be enjoyed from the privacy of the covered deck. This clean, fully-outfitted trailer is a way to experience Alaska without pitching a tent or sacrificing luxury. Some call it 'glamping'. If you don't have a large budget or lofty expectations then this spot is for you!

Carmen's Cabin-Comfortable, warm and relaxing!

Clean, comfortable and cute for those looking for a comfy place to get away from it all. Carmen’s Cabin was built by my daughter Carmen and her father in 2005. Open, bright, clean and cozy, this beautiful and efficient cabin is found in a wonderfully pleasant and family friendly neighborhood. It was situated on site to take maximum advantage of the stunning views of Kachemak Bay and the Grewingk Glacier. This is a no-pet listing, just right for one or two people. We would love to host you!

Adorable dry cabin in Fritz Creek, AK

Quaint dry cabin a stone's throw from Fritz Creek General Store. Comfy queen bed in the loft and futon on the first floor. This spot is close enough to enjoy the shops and cuisine of Homer 15 mins away, or enjoy the solitude and grab a cocktail at The Homestead nearby. Four miles beyond us takes you to Eveline State Rec Area. The cabin is cozy- monitor heat or the warmth of late day sun through the southwest facing picture windows. A clean composting outhouse completes the rustic atmosphere.

Island Watch

A cozy spot for adventurers to crash. This mother-in-law style apartment is below our home just 3 miles from downtown Homer. We have kids, cats, dogs, chickens, bunnies, and two horses, it’s nothing short of an actual zoo/circus around here. While your unit is private, there will be any of the above mentioned running around in the yard at any given time. We can’t promise you won’t hear occasional footsteps but we will promise to “whisper yell” at our kids to not run in the house :)

Surf Shack on Hesketh Island

Sleep to the sound of the sea! The Surf Shack on Hesketh Island is perfect for a small family or a couple and is glamping at its finest. It sits in the trees, 30 feet from the beach, overlooking the water and Yukon Island. This is a remote island property and can only be accessed by boat. We provide water taxi transport with True North Kayak Adventures. Pricing is $85/adult and $75/12 and under, round trip. Kayak and SUP trips are also available as well as rentals.

Cabin Get-away in Homer

Our cabin is the perfect place to get-away to beautiful Homer, AK. Located centrally between town and Homer’s XC ski trail network at Ohlson Mtn. It is an authentic heavy timber hunting cabin that has been modernized to be warm & comfortable with a full kitchen and bath as well as a loft bedroom with a view of Kachemak Bay. It is private but located on a shared property with our home which is ideal for providing assistance with anything you may need.
