This listing is for Cabin #2, a lofted cabin that sits right along the waterfront. Each cabin has it's own firepit, picnic table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The 6-person barrel sauna, kayaks, and all other outdoor spaces are shared among all guests. We're just 15 mins. from Downtown, Mt. Itasca, Tioga MTB Trails, and the Chippewa Nat'l Forest.

Take out the canoe or kayak to explore the lake, or relax and listen to the loons sing.

Log Cabin on Caribou Lake/Chippewa National Forest

Full scribed renovated log cabin located in the Chippewa National Forest on the pristine Caribou Lake. Hand built in the late 1970s the cabin has two bedrooms, a large loft, full kitchen, fireplace, & walk out basement yards from the lake. Modern amenities in a rustic atmosphere the cabin has 1000 LF of shoreline on a private shallow bay. Lake Cabin

My lake cabin is on a private lake with no public access (Please note, I do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to the steep hill). It is near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. There is 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. The cabin is on over 4 acres; plenty of room to relax. There is a boathouse, dock, two kayaks, a small boat & motor, a fire pit and gas grill.

The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is centrally located with what Grand Rapids has to offer. You will be close to everything when you stay at this home, it is walking distance to Crystal Lake, MesabiTrail, Reif center, Yanmar arena, local breweries, shopping, antique shops and close to downtown. Snowmobile trail is a short ride across the lake. A park is conveniently located just a half a block from the house. After a busy day you can enjoy the fire pit, spacious deck, board games and game room.
