Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. It is across the road from the entrance to the beautiful Lews Castle Grounds and the Stornoway Golf Course. The Co-op supermarket, Spar petrol station and the award winning Charles Macleod butchers are within walking distance. It is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. An ideal accommodation for a couple looking to explore the Western Isles.

10 Dalmore, Isle Of Lewis

The house is in the small village of Dalmore, next to Carloway on the west side of lewis. The house is minutes away from the beautiful Dalmore beach. Doune Braes Hotel and restaurant is near by and Uig Sands Resturant is a 40 minute drive away but highly recommended. Places of interest such as Gearrannan Blackhouses and The Broch are a short drive. The Callanish Stones are a 20 minute drive away and Stornoway is a 35 minute drive. As pets are welcome we have a ***2 dog limit***

You have the entire house and garden with secure bike storage, enclosed suntrap garden with garden furniture, and lovely conservatory to enjoy. Ample on street parking to front and dedicated off street parking to rear. Major supermarket and takeaway minutes’ walk away. All linen, towels, cleaning and basic kitchen condiments included.

Bayview Croft House

Bayview Croft House was built in the 1930s and has remained in the same family ever since. It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.

Fabulous hill walking and climbing in the Torridon mountains, mountain biking on tracks and quiet roads, fishing, and sea trips to explore this beautiful part of the Highlands. For the less energetic, just sit, relax and watch the ever-changing scenery.
