Our house was built in 1933 and the decor is sympathetic to this period and has been described a "a cosy home from home". The ground floor Airbnb suite has two rooms - the Blue and Green room. The Blue room has a large double bed, a hair dryer, and hot drink facilities. The bathroom, kitchenette and small reception area is shared between the two guest rooms. A continental breakfast is provided, and special diets can be catered for if you let us know in advance. We are LGBTQ+ friendly.

In May you can see newborn lambs in our small farm next house, on bright summer nights you can go for a short evening walk and see the beautiful sunset at the mouth of the fjord, and in the fall when it gets dark in the evenings the beautiful northern lights dance if nature allows. We are in the heart of Skagafjörður, and Sauðárkrókur is just ten or twelve minutes away by car. All year round, lodging is accepted. The five rooms in the main house "Gulluhús" share a bathroom. Four of the rooms are on the upper floor, one on the ground floor, and the restrooms are located on the ground floor. The old farmhouse has been converted into five spacious bedrooms, each with its bathroom.
