This large 14X20 room plus bathroom is for non-smoking guests. Windows with wooded views and a private entrance. Also a queen size Tempur-pedic mattress, WiFi, microwave oven (behind a cabinet door), electric tea kettle, toaster oven, Keurig, refrigerator, hot plate, bar sink, large TV (with over 250 channels), DVD player, and off street parking. Nothing high-end here (except the mattress) but very comfy, clean, and private. Also the bathroom has it's own on-demand water heater (not shared).

Surrounded by Arcata’s best restaurant’s, eateries, and entertainment venues. Just steps away from the natural food store, historic theatre, and shopping. Your apartment is located downtown, below our home, you can walk to everything you need (3 blocks to Arcata Plaza, w/year round Farmer's Market, 6 blocks to Cal Poly, & half mile to Arcata Community Redwood Forest). It has a bay view, lots of light, & sleeps four (a queen bed & double sofa bed, w/a curtain dividing bedroom and living room). The kitchen has fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven, cookware, coffee pot/Keurig, hot water pot. We're proud to be solar powered! Low cleaning fee. : )

Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

A large, open modern, one bedroom studio apartment on the ground floor of a Victorian. There's a stream of activity on the street, walking and biking. It's a swell, safe neighborhood with professors, students, families. Outside the apartment door you may enjoy coffee or a cocktail at the garden table. The kitchen is complete and part of the living room, which works well for groups, with the counter island, futon sofa, lounge chair, and kitchen table with chairs.
