One group per day mountain homestay at 950m on the slopes of Mt. Hijiri, ideal for hiking. Surrounded by beautiful seasonal nature and mountain views. Breakfast comes with homemade jam, fresh eggs from our chickens, and freshly baked bread loved by guests. We live here with a goat, two dogs, and chickens. Conversation happens naturally if guests wish, and privacy is respected. A peaceful base for exploring Nagano by day and quiet mountain evenings. Optional irori dinner. Station pickup included.

Mojo Lodge: Two Bedroom Self Contained Apartment

Experience the comfort of a self contained apartment with the convenience, service and facilities of a Ski Lodge The rate includes 10% consumption tax, unlimited free WiFi full daily breakfast, pick up and drop off upon arrival and departure from the Happo bus terminal and the Hakuba train station between 7am – 10pm, and our nightly shuttle service between 5pm and 7pm which includes the following destinations: International ATM, Hot-springs, Supermarket and the neighbouring village, Echoland.

Azumino Hotaka Another House is a private retreat for one group per day, nestled in a peaceful villa area at the foot of the Northern Alps. Relax in a Kiso hinoki wooden bath with continuously flowing natural hot spring water. During the cooler months, the Italian pellet stove keeps the house warm and comfortable. Family-friendly Jiigatake Ski Resort is just a 30-minute drive away, while Hakuba, Kamikochi, Matsumoto, and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route are all within about an hour by car.

We are a modern Japanese-Western-style Bed & Breakfast accommodation in Hakuba Japan, the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic venue, situated in the Northern Alps of Japan. 虫倉山の麓、標高800m、棚田、トタン屋根の古民家が融合するどこか懐かしい風景が目の前に広がる小さな集落のなかに古民家あまねはあります。 江戸時代後期に建てられ、明治初期には寺子屋を開いていたと聞いています。太い大黒柱をはじめ、家自体の存在感、集落、ロケーションが気にいって移住し、以降、セルフリノベーションを積み重ねてきました。歴史的風合いをできるかぎり残すために古材を使って施工しています。 床板は畳の下に敷かれていた栗材や米棚の板の再利用です。庭から出てきた敷石は五右衛門風呂に、長屋門で使われていた蔵の戸は玄関に再利用しています。 夏は扇風機のみで過ごしています。反対に冬は隙間風が入ってとても寒く感じると思いますが、セルフビルドのオンドル（床暖房）や五右衛門風呂など少しでも暖かくすごすための暮らしの工夫もぜひ体感していただきたいことの1つです。 ホストと共に古民家暮らしを体験する宿、古民家あまね。 自然に身を委ね何もない日常を味わう連泊での滞在をおすすめします。 ここで過ごす時間が、あなたにとって静かな喜びとあたたかさにつながったら嬉しいです。

Wild birds visit the backyard bird bath daily, adding to the relaxing atmosphere on the deck. Located 4–10 minutes by car from five major ski resorts, and 1–8 minutes from convenience stores, restaurants, and supermarkets. Optional breakfast service is available for ¥2,600 per meal.

Chianti Chalet is situated a short 15min walk from the gondola at Tsugaike-Kogen Snow Resort at the end of a quiet street backing onto a stream and surrounded by forest and mountains.
