LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! A super cute and cosy 1930s cottage. Situated literally a stones throw from the beautiful Hokitika river and popular cycle trail. Only a mere 3 minutes stroll to witness Sunset Point's stunning sunsets! Soak up the picturesque views of the Southern Alps, Mount Cook and the untamed Hokitika beach. The CBD is a short 2 minutes walk where you can immerse yourself in local cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, craft galleries, copper, gold, glass and pounamu studios.

Hokitika Haven

Relax in our 1 bedroom apartment with large open plan kitchen, dining & living area. Bedroom has a queen bed & also a single bed. Heat pump, gas powered hot water along with Sky TV, Sky Sports, Sky Movies and Wifi. Smart TV gives you access to online content as well as Netflix plus more. 50 inch Smart TV's in both the lounge and bedroom. 2 minute stroll to the Glowworm dell in one direction and the beach in the other direction. Easy, flat walk to town approx. 1.5km away. Private parking.

The Nest at Hurunui Jacks (outdoor bath & firepit)

So much more than a place to sleep - toast marshmallows around a private fire, take a bike on the West Coast Wilderness trail, kayak on our little lake! The Nest is a stand alone self contained unit with outdoor bath/shower, close to but separate from the main house. Set on 15 acres of private land, Hurunui Jacks has the Nest and a glamping tent nestled in beautiful West Coast native bush. A small private lake, historic water race & the Kaniere River are on your doorstep.

Our modern 3 bed house is newly renovated, and a 5 minute walk to the centre of Hokitika where you can find all sorts of treasures, from a range of great cafes and Restaurants, to Pounamu (Greenstone or Jade), a movie theatre, and a range of very stylish shops, with everything from clothes, jewellery, souvenirs, flowers, and hardware. If you walk through town you can stroll right onto the beach, where you can sometimes spot seals, little blue penguins and other wildlife.

Hokitika Hideaway

Relax and unwind with the whole family at your Hokitika haven. Lovingly built in 2023, this house is modern but homely. The house is uniquely situated in Kaniere, Hokitika - 600 metres to the Wilderness Bike Trail, walking tracks and 5 minutes drive to the township. A private backyard overlooks neighbouring farmland and native birdlife, flaxes and pungas to the north. Enjoy sitting outside and watching the Tui's eating the flax seeds in season.

Cabin on the Beach

Our "cool little" cabin is a very small, detached, cozy, private bedroom looking out towards the rugged Tasman Sea. You will enjoy your own private space, comfortable queen bed, beautiful sunsets, beach access, and the convenience of a 3 min beach walk to Hokitika town centre. Bathroom facilities are detached from cabin and shared with our other cabin guests. Our place is perfect for couples and solo adventurers.

Mamaku Hideaway - with outdoor bath

Nestled in native bush, Mamaku Hideaway is a private one-bedroom tiny home for two. Relax with full kitchen, bathroom, and a large covered deck. Cozy up around the fire pit and make some s’mores. With a secluded outdoor bath surrounded by bush views, and private short walking tracks through ferns right on your doorstep. Just 5 minutes from town, yet a world away - your perfect retreat in nature.

Ten Mile Coast Road Ocean Outlook

This place is overlooking the Tasman sea in a private bush setting,with large garden ,decking, and upstairs balcony. You’ll love this place because of the ocean outlook,privacy and fantastic places to explore nearby. The house can be used as upstairs fully self contained 1 bedroom apartment for a couple or as 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom,2 living room house for family or couples.

The Church House

This older style 3- bedroom home doesnt get any closer to Hokitika township. Located right in the CBD, it is a couple hundred metres from every amenity you need....the beach, restaurants, New World, shops etc etc. It has a large private backyard, with seating, fireplace and BBQ area. Please note: this house DOES NOT have a table & chairs and dishwasher.

Fire Station Cottage

Enjoy your stay in historic gold town Ross at Fire Station Cottage. Recently refurbished our self contained two bedroom cottage opened late December 2019 and boasts all day sun, outdoor dining area, free Netflix & unlimited Wifi and a two minute walk away from the best pub on the West Coast. Our sunny, clean, self contained house is set on a deer/beef farm with stunning views of the Southern Alps, a 5-10 minute drive to the Hokitika Gorge and 20 minutes to Lake Kaniere. It is the perfect location for exploring our little patch of paradise including the Wilderness Trail, Tree Top Walkway and local attractions.
