Historiske Herøy gård ligger like ved. Her er kort vei til fuglefjellet Runde. Du kan også ta med familien på en tur til Sunnmørsbadet.

Gode fiske og bademuligheter i sjøen, samt behagelige fjell om man ønsker litt trim. Det er kort veg til Fosnavåg eller Ulsteinvik som har mange restauranter og butikker. Sunnmørsbadet (badeland) ligger ca 13-14 min kjøring fra hytta. Robåt og fiskeutstyr tilgjengelig.
