A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island or to the mouth of the lagoon and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas. Have a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean. In certain months of the year enjoy windsurfing at our door step too

‘Moonshine Cabin’ With Spectacular Lagoon Views

Moonshine cabin, located on the banks of the Klein River Lagoon, Hermanus, is a much loved home, filled with happy memories. The cabin has a spacious open plan living area with WiFi, air conditioner and tv in the lounge. The living area leads out to a deck, with a seating area and braai. The cabin sleeps 6 guests. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed with views and ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen and a single bed. The third bedroom is a single. There is a kayak for guests to use.

Birdsong

This delightful house is tucked away in a grove of trees overlooking the Vermont Saltpan,which is a bird sanctuary. Recent solar panels on the roof feed into a battery and inverter system. Loadshedding is no longer an issue. This tastefully furnished, four bedroom home, is fully equipped caters for upto 8 guests. The perfect place to getaway from it. The Saltpan is fed only by rainfall and run-off from the mountains and in years when there has been low rainfall the pan often dries out.

Only 20 min walk down the hill to the gorgeous cliff path and great surf ! The outdoor covered patio with a built in braai ( BBQ ) is the perfect place to enjoy a majestic African sunset !

Heligan Studio: Walk to beach & famous cliff path

Charming, comfortable, bright, upstairs -studio leading onto a balcony with scenic views of the indigenous gardens, mountains and glimpses of the sea. The cliff path is a few minutes away from all the beaches and Fernkloof Nature Reserve is close by to explore our many mountain trails and unique 'fynbos" flora, overlooking the town of Hermanus and up into the mountains. Several good restaurants are close by and in walking distance. At night driving to eat out is the best option.

Akkerbos River House

Akkerbos River House offers the perfect escape to the countryside, enjoy sublime peace, quiet and privacy on the banks of the Klein River. Akkerbos has a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen and luxurious bedrooms all leading onto the veranda. Enjoy Akkerbos all year round, with direct river access to cool down and relax in the garden during the summer, and getting cozy in the cooler months with an indoor fireplace, underfloor heating and hot tub.

Oppiedam Family Cabins (Flamingo)

The cabin is situated right on the edge of the Bot River lagoon. Has a big garden and the views are fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach and close to communal pool and tennis courts. Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.
