The Bakoni Hide-Away, Schoemanskloof

The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

Nestled beneath the towering beauty of God's Window and surrounded by lush plantations, our cozy, rustic farm offers a farm experience. As a working farm, Terebinte - "the tree where friends and family gather" - welcomes you to enjoy the charm of country life. Please note, our property is located deep within the forest, requiring a 3km drive on a dirt road. While the road is generally well-maintained, heavy rain may occasionally make it a bit slippery or uneven. We navigate it in small cars too.

Thatched and built from stone, the cottage offers stunning views into a verdant garden and over a farm dam. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, and generate electricity, is based on being environmentally sustainable. We want to invite you to this unique and romantic experience in our hand build Jungle Treehouse made of old school windows. Warm and cozy in the winter month due to our newly added heatblanket to your queen bed. Enjoy our garden and our new build infinity pool with stunning mountain views and breathtaking sunsets . You can hear the birds chirping all day long and fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle. Try to spot the owls & bushbabys wich are often sitting in the jacaranda trees around you.

School Bus living in Nature

Enjoy a stay in a 1973 converted school bus that has all the comforts of home and touches of luxury. Self-contained accommodation for two in the bushveld with magnificent views and the sounds of nature. All of this is situated in agricultural lands, 15 minutes away from the centre of Nelspruit. The hosts have 4 large dogs that are well socialised and enjoy meeting new people. The property is a self-sustaining homestead where the hosts grow their own vegetables, farm honey and produce eggs.

Tranquil Nelspruit Family Stay (NO Loadshedding)

Load shedding equipped - inverter and battery system. This is a very comfortable, centrally-located family home with an open-plan living space leading out to a large deck, which overlooks a sparkling pool and treetops of the adjacent green belt. The house is best suited for up to 4 adults and their children (maximum 6 guests in total). Because the unit only has 2 ground floor bathrooms, we will not be able to accept booking requests for 6 adults. Strictly no noise and no parties allowed.
