Located at the tip of the Blue Hill Peninsula, Brooklin, Maine offers a quiet retreat a bit over an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. A one-minute walk from The Maine Hideaway's doorstep brings you into the historic village of Brooklin, Maine and a close walk to Wooden Boat School. Our home was built in 1874, we have multiple guest rooms, all with incredibly comfortable mattresses and modern furnishings. We serve a continental breakfast Tue-Sat and hot breakfast on Sun & Mon.

Guest room in a private home

My home is located in a small town on a dirt road and very private. The rt 1 coast/ocean is about 25 minutes away and offers lighthouses, lobster and Maine hospitality. This guest room has a full size bed that is stacked with pillows and an antique quilt, dresser and closet space. The bathroom boasts of a shower as well as a claw foot bathtub should you wish to lay back and relax. There is a television, and an air conditioner in the warmer months as well as a ceiling fan as an alternative.

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub. This is room 2 on our 2nd floor. It has a private bath and the ceiling of the bathroom was once a trolley car’s ceiling. The stained glass windows give the room a rosy Medieval glow. With two comfortable chairs and a fireplace, this room has it all. We are a B&B so breakfast is included with your stay. Please see our website for the menu. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor.

Enjoy a tranquil getaway in this peaceful coastal apartment with private entrance. The updated apartment is attached to a historical (1881) inn. The property offers access to lush gardens surrounded by forest as well a short footpath to the top of the rocky shore. No A/C, not pet friendly. Fans provided. Can sleep 2 adults and 1 child.

The Crib is 30 minutes drive from Bangor Airport and about a 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park.

Cozy, peaceful B&B near Bar Harbor, ME and Acadia National Park. We are a half mile from Lamoine beach on a quiet country road. Our property has a pond and 6 acres with an array of wildlife. Local quaint shopping areas and restaurants in Ellsworth and Bar Harbor which is from 15-30 minutes from our B&B.
