River’s End Retreat

For couples wanting a romantic escape. Relax and unwind in this bespoke Tiny House overlooking the Kalgan River. Located on 30ac we are a small working farm. Sheep, alpacas and horses graze the paddocks and you may even get a visit from one of our pet kangaroos. From the deck you can listen to abundant bird life and fish rising in the river while enjoying a glass of local wine next to the fire. Close to walk trails, river and beaches come and explore all this amazing region has to offer.

This newly renovated cabin, in rural Sellicks Beach is an ideal getaway for those looking for an escape back to country. Only 50 minutes drive from Adelaide CBD, you have the iconic Willunga Market just 10 minutes away for some fresh produce, before you meander onto the McLaren Vale wine region where you can pick up some quality red wines. Bring these back and enjoy whilst you relax in spa and take in the magnificent beach sunset. Take in a stroll/drive onto Silver Sands, only 2 minutes away.

Get the fire going in winter, enjoy the gully breeze in summer with large picture windows bringing the outdoors inside.

Conveniently located 2 bedroom apartment( both with on suite) in the CBD, close to transport, shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Directly in front of the apartment building is a bus stop which will take you to the beach or Hills. An easy walk to the tram that opens up Glenelg beach, the Entertainment Centre, Convention Centre, Casino and Adelaide Oval. The free bus stop is located a few steps away north of the entrance , The Parklands are only a minute away . Free on site parking.

In town, off grid, healthy stay.

Separate entrance from hosts. Only filtered rain water (including showers), non chemical soaps, washing materials, off grid (battery) power, so no failures, organic breakfast foods. No microwave oven but have an electric oven, fry pan & rice/porridge cooker & wifi is available. Large TV with sporting and movie channels available. We have a renovated home, over 100 yrs old, with real character. Please be careful with water usage as we have only rain water, but sufficient for the whole year.
