While away the day rocking in the gentle breeze on the covered front porch swings or rocking chairs. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on our large, private back yard patio surrounded by majestic pines. High speed wifi/smart t.v. for your convenience. Parking in driveway, though the garage is not accessible to guests. Special Note: Outdoor quiet hours from 10:00pm - 7:00am.

Forest Retreat hot tub, snow shoes

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway on beautiful 20 acre parcel with a creek running through it. Minutes from Quincy, very accessible, feels much more remote. Hot tub & cold plunge. 2 paddle boards & pump. 2 sets of Snow shoes. Short ride to Mount Hough & many other hiking & biking trails & trail map. Ping pong, cornhole, horseshoes, board games. Massage table can be set up in office as well. Starlink internet. Extra accommodations available for large party’s (glamping & airstream trailer)

Feather Cottage - Getaway on the River

A private (shared) drive leads to a modest cottage on the middle fork of the Feather River. The neighbors are in close proximity, live here year round, and are quiet. Please be respectful. The cottage is comfortable, as is the 600 square deck. Make yourself your perfect morning drink, and some waffles while you’re at it. Kick back and enjoy all the Sierra Valley has to offer. Every few days, a train horn will sound in the night so be aware. The trains come and go at a sleepy pace. Enjoy!

Keddie Wye House

Based at the foot of the world-famous Keddie Wye Trestle, this historic 1906 home offers custom woodwork and attention to detail throughout. Outside you will find extensive decks, private river access, and exquisite landscaping. The property borders the National Forest with exclusive trail access leading to your own private swimming holes. You will enjoy your own unique view of the world famous Keddie Wye. House is only 7 miles from the Quincy. NOT SUITIABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN OR HANDICAP.

A lovely peaceful retreat. This is a custom-built fully equipped home on the Feather River tucked into the tall pines on the hillside. Relax and enjoy the views from inside or outside on the wraparound deck. Just at the top of the ridge, the clickety clack of the train with a melancholy whistle is heard in the distance throughout the valley. As you drive through the Sierra valley you’re sure to spot quaint landmarks, barn quilts, cattle, yaks, deer and other wildlife.
