Kuca je kompletno renovirana 2024god. Tešnjar je stari deo grada Valjeva i jedan od njegovih najupečatljivijih simbola. Nalazi se na desnoj obali Kolubare, stisnuto između toka reke i brda. Danas je Tešnjar jedna od retkih sačuvanih orijentalnih celina u Srbiji. Sastoji se od jedne ulice koja prati tok reke Kolubare i nekoliko manjih ulica koje se spuštaju niz brdo ka njoj.
