This home is set up like a duplex with owners occupying the top (we do have 3 young children) & guests having full, private access to the bottom half. Guests are given a private garage & back yard w/ free firewood. Private entry gives access to 2,200 sq ft of private space that includes a 3 seasons room with gas fireplace, laundry, and full kitchen. 1 open room, one private, and one partial room with no windows. Basement apartment featuring a cozy reading nook, washer and dryer, WiFi, and TV with access to all streaming services. Guests have separate entrance on the side of the house and parking in driveway. Perfect for two but can sleep up to four. No AC? Not a problem here! Our basement space stays cool and comfortable all throughout the hot and humid summer days of MN. We also have fans available and we constantly run a dehumidifier to circulate the air and keep away moisture.

Enjoy a quiet retreat or a romantic getaway by the fireplace. Spend some time by the lake enjoying the fresh air and wildlife, or reconnect with family around the table playing games. Our cabin is the perfect place to re-energize and reconnect.

The Lake House sits on the shore of beautiful Lake Minnewaska in Glenwood, MN. The Lake House has plenty of room and amenities for family vacations, girls weekends, ice fishing trips, or just a relaxing getaway. The sandy beach is the perfect place to have fun in the summer and you can fish right off the dock.

This basement apartment is large, comfortable and furnished with everything you'll need. It's close to Taunton Stadium and a mile from downtown. It's a little chilly, but the price is right and we the hosts live upstairs so we're close by in case of need. And you can park off the street!
